DO I NEED PRE-AUTHORIZATION FROM MY INSURANCE COMPANY?
Due to the various requirements of insurance companies, and mental health benefits in particular, we highly recommend that you call your insurance carrier to obtain PRIOR TREATMENT AUTHORIZATION FOR OUTPATIENT PSYCHOTHERAPY. While your particular insurance plan may not require outpatient treatment authorization, most plans require prior authorization in order to cover your service. If you fail to obtain such authorization then you will be responsible for the fee at the time of service.
How do I start my telehealth call?
Do I need a computer to use telehealth?
No. Telehealth calls can be made on Smartphones and Tablets running Android or Apple's iOS in addition to desktop and laptop computers. We recommend testing your device setup before your telehealth appointment.
